Civic Association

Welcome to the Grandwood Park Civic Association (GPCA)

Grandwood Park is truly a unique community in northern Lake County. The Grandwood Park Civic Association's purpose is to enhance and support the entire community. The Civic Association works in conjunction with the Grandwood Park Park District to provide community activities including Community Care, Neighborhood Watch, SummerFest, Bingo, Music in the Park, Save the Lake, and Political Forums where residents can learn about candidates as well as local issues. Additionally, special events and fund raisers are conducted to support its scholarship award program. These activities and events not only support the community, but bring its residents together increasing involvement, safety, interaction and friendships.

The Grandwood Park Civic Association, established in 1962, is a nonprofit organization. The GPCA Board consists of five (5) unpaid volunteers, each serving a 2-year term.  Monthly meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at the Community Center at 7 PM.
