Grant $$$ Received
The Grandwood Park Park District is thrilled to announce the receipt of the entire $400,000 Community Center Construction Grant. We have extended sincere appreciation to our State Representative Sandy Cole for the diligent support of the Capital Construction Program and our grant specifically. In addition to the mounds of required paperwork completed by park district administration, there are key individuals whose strategic efforts should be recognized; Lake County Board Member Steve Carlson & former Park District Commissioner Alain Oller. The timeline below gives visual clarity to the extensive process undergone in order to receive this funding and that a chain of teamwork can achieve progress for our community!
