The picnic shelter is located at the east end of Grandwood Lake in Lake Park, next to the Sports Courts.  The closest entrance is from Streamwood Court.

Facilities:

  • 20' x 14' shelter
  • Portable toilet (seasonal)

Rental Rates

Damage Deposit (refundable):     $75

Daily Fee:   $50

A fee of $20 will be assessed if your payment is returned to us from the bank due to insufficient funds in the issuing account. If that occurs, we will not redeposit the NSF check. You will be required to make that payment in cash or money order.

If a 2nd payment is returned from the bank, you will be required to make the remainder of your payments in cash or money order.

NOTE:  The Grandwood Park Park District does not allow smoking and/or tobacco use of any kind on any District property.  Any violation of the park districts TOBACCO-FREE policy, including the disposal of cigarette butts on any District property, will result in the loss of your security deposit.
