Adopt a Highway

| Join us on Saturday, April 11th as we fulfill our commitment with Lake County’s Adopt-a-Highway program. We are responsible for clean-up on Hutchins Road from Stearns School Road to Grand Avenue twice a year.
The clean-up usually just takes about an hour – with help from our volunteers. Volunteers need to be at least 10 years old to participate. Everyone should meet at the pole barn at 36753 N. Hutchins Road at 10:00am. The park district supplies the pick-up tools, garbage bags, safety vests and water. You may want to bring gloves in case you have to pick something up with your hands.
