GENERAL INFORMATION
Min/Max
In order to secure instructors and supplies, programs may require a minimum number of participants 7 days before the class is to begin. A maximum number is also listed to ensure quality instruction. The Grandwood Park Park District reserves the right to adjust Min/Max's on programs/events when deemed necessary. Classes may be combined and times modified to facilitate better programs.
Res/Non-Res
Facilities and programs are partially subsidized through taxes paid by residents of the Grandwood Park Park District. The resident fee is the first one listed. Non-Residents pay the second amount listed. If a program is conducted at a school facility and you reside within that school district, you will be charged the resident rate.
Mark Your Calendars
You will be notified if, for any reason, we are unable to complete your registration or the program is cancelled or changed.
Photo Policy
Frequently, Park District staff may videotape or photograph participants enrolled in programs, classes, events or enjoying park facilities. These photographs are for Park District publications, flyers, brochures, our website, and future recreation materials or cable programs. All photos and videos taken on Park District property are for Park District use and become its sole property.
American with Disabilities Act
The Grandwood Park Park District intends to comply with the intent and spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability. If you need any special accommodations, please call the Grandwood Park Park District so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Returned Check Charge
Any check that is deposited and returned by the bank for any reason will result in an additional charge of $10.
Behavior Code of Conduct
The Grandwood Park Park District has established certain rules necessary to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment. Proper behavior is expected from each participant at all times. This includes showing respect to all other participants, staff, equipment, supplies and facilities, refraining from use of foul language, causing no bodily harm, making no threats of violence and committing no acts of violence. Additional policies may be developed for specific programs if necessary.
